Allen Bradley 2080-LC50-48QWB Micro850 48 I/O EtherNet/IP Controller

The 2080-LC50-48QWB is a Micro 850 Logic Controller, manufactured by Allen Bradley. This unit has 28 inputs at 24 Volts of DC or AC, along with 20 output relays for a total of 48 I/O, with an additional 6 HSC supports. It consumes approximately 33 Watts of power and should be supplied between about 20.4 and 26.4 Volts of DC (Class 2). This controller’s input channels operate at 110 Volt AC voltage category, with maximum at 132 Volts AC (at 60 Hertz). It has an OFF-state voltage of maximum 20 Volts AC. Its OFF-state current is maximum 1.5 mA, while its ON-state current maximum is 16 mA at 132 Volts AC. This unit also meets the enclosure rating of IP20, with a C300, R150 Pilot duty rating. This unit can withstand a maximum surrounding air temperature of 65 degrees Celsius (149 degrees Fahrenheit). To avoid condensation, keep this unit in a relative humidity zone between 5 and 95%, and do not operate the module in temperatures higher than 65 degrees Celsius or lower than -20 (149 and -4 degrees Fahrenheit). Similarly, when in storage, this unit should not be kept at a temperature outside of a -40 to 85 degrees Celsius zone (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). This unit may have some parts that are sensitive to Electrostatic Discharge (abbreviated to ESD). It is immune to contact discharges up to 4 kV and air discharges of 8 kV. At 10 to 500 Hertz, the 2080-LC50-48QWB may have vibrations up to 2 G and may have a shock up to 25. The 2080-LC50-48QWB series of controllers, Micro 850, contains a USB interface, allowing a standard USB cable to be applied to the module and utilized as a programming cable. This controller also contains a 10/100 Base-T port to allow for Ethernet network connectivity. This port is embedded with LED light in yellow and green which serve as indicators, notifying the user whenever a transmission is made or a status is received, such as the module’s status or the network’s status. This module contains a number of additional features including Run Mode Change (RMC) and Run Mode Configuration Change (RMCC) capabilities, which allow memory storage and enhanced productivity. The 2080-LC50-48QWB controller weighs about 1.60 pounds (0.725 kilograms) and is sized at approximately 3.54 x 9.37 x 3.15 inches (or 90 x 238 x 80 millimeters).
